Godparent Program for GAC Children

To make it easy for a godparent to choose a GAC child, photos of each child with names and birth dates are attached.

184 children participate in our program, some of them already have god- parents.

Being a godparent of a child costs only EUR 15.00/month!

As a godparent, you will receive detailed information about your godchild. We will keep you posted about the progress of the child wthin the GAC project, school, and family. From time to time we will send you photos of your godchild.

Being a godparent must be considered symbolic. The relationsship will grow through contacts like postcards, e-mails, personal visits, etc.

Your donation will be allocated as follows:

All monthly donations will be directly transferred to GAC´s account in Brazil. The funds will be used to reduce the parents contribution. The more donations we send, the less the parents pay. The percentage of this discount will be published each month in our Donation Barometer.

In case of hardship, GAC can wave  the monthly fee for a specific parent.

All parents agreed to this procedure, including those whose child has a godparent. We noticed that all godparents received a warm welcome from the godchild families.

GAC´s leadership stated that all parents face the same poor financial conditions. 

The children like it very much, when they receive small gifts from their godparents, f.e. at their birthday or Christmas day ...................

As the new school year starts, your donation or sponsorship will be a financial relief for each family, especially those facing high additional expenses for school uniforms, books and classroom material.

No idea for a gift? Simply give your friends and relatives a sponsorship for a GAC child!

We will take care of the formalities for you. Why not request a photo and personal data from a child of your choice - maybe even with the same birthday as your friend?

We will send you a credit note in the name of the future godparent. For example EUR 90.00 for half a year or EUR 180.00 for a whole year.
