The day-Care Centers

GAC owns two buildings in the Papagaio slum . 

The main building is located in the center of the slum (Beco Aparecida). It accommodates the children between 2 and 6 years. The building has 6 rooms, accommodating the different age groups. All rooms have adequate lighting, bathrooms and washrooms.

The annex is located close to the entrance of the slum (Rua Principal). This is the place for the 7 to 14 year old kids and teenagers.

Both day care centers have playgrounds under roof in their inner cortyard. The buildings have also a lunch room, kitchen, play room, and a library with video equipment for the 7 to 14 year olds. 

The GAC administration has its office in the main building. GAC manages both centers with full approval of the residents of the slum.

	"A world of imagination" That is the name of the library, filled with children´s books and magazins.
